AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 Opens, Showcasing the Future of Smart Construction and Modern Living

KUALA LUMPUR, Tuesday, 23 June 2026 – The inaugural AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026, a three-day industry showcase, officially opened today at CityStage @ KL City Walk, bringing together more than 18 curated exhibitors and key industry players in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s central business district.

Designed as a focused platform for the construction, interior design, smart living, and AI-driven technology sectors, the showcase connects businesses, industry professionals, solution providers and consumers through innovative products, strategic networking opportunities and discussions on the future of the built environment.

Throughout the three-day event, visitors have the opportunity to explore future-ready solutions, discover emerging industry trends, engage with leading experts, and gain valuable insights through exhibitions, AI-IN-ACTION presentations, keynote sessions and interactive panel discussions.
Welcoming participants to the event, Dennis Choy, organiser of the showcase and Founder of CityStage KLCC, said the initiative was created to showcase innovative AI-powered solutions for the construction and building industry.


“Our aim is to promote knowledge sharing through industry discussions and panel sessions while connecting stakeholders across the construction, interior design and smart living industries.
“We also seek to create networking and business collaboration opportunities by providing a marketplace where brands, suppliers and service providers can expand their businesses,” he said.

The showcase offers visitors direct access to industry experts and thought leaders driving innovation in architecture, interior design, artificial intelligence, sustainability and future-ready living spaces. Among the highlights of AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 are keynote presentations by Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum, award-winning architect, former President of Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) and Chief Architecturalist of [SA]² – Sarly Adre Sarkum Architecture Sdn. Bhd., as well as Rajiv Mathew, AI Transformation Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of Future verse Technologies.

Ar. Sarly delivered a keynote titled “Architects in the Age of AI and Its Relevance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming the architectural profession and the future of sustainable design.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Mathew, who brings more than 20 years of experience in consulting and digital transformation, shared valuable insights on “Adapting and Leading the AI Imperative for SMEs in Construction,” highlighting how small and medium-sized enterprises can leverage AI to remain competitive in an increasingly digital industry.


The showcase also features a comprehensive series of forum discussions and panel sessions addressing the growing role of AI across the construction and property sectors.
