13 Finalists to compete for the title of Miss Plus World Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 JULY – Miss Plus World Malaysia organization has finally revealed its Finalists who will be competing and vying this year for the prestigious crown and titles ofMiss Plus World Malaysia 2022 and Ms Plus Intercontinental Malaysia 2022.The revelation and sashing session took place at an exclusive press conference held at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 22 July 2022.
The grand final is scheduled on 10 December this year. The winner of national crown will represent Malaysia on the international stage at Miss Plus World 2023 which will be held in Chicago, USA in August next year.The Miss Plus World Malaysia 2022 13 finalists have been selected from over 400 applicants after very strict pre-selections which took place online between March and April and also through 3 national auditions which were held in Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak and Sabah.
MPWM executive national director Ziinine AS Britshi said the pageantry aims to promote continuous physical and humanitarian activities, and also healthy lifestyle through education and opportunities.”We are dedicated to promoting, elevating and celebrating the accomplishments and humanitarian services of women from across the country.”Through this search and pageantry, we aim to create a sisterhood bond of confident and influential women who share their cultures with each other and the world as they promote education, peace, wellness, and worldwide appreciation of diversity.”Our selected finalists will be the role models of equity, leadership, and elegance,” he said in a statement through a press release.
In collaboration with Malaysia World News, Sunway Putra Hotel, Glam 22, and other sponsors and partners, MPWN will hold the Grand Finale Gala Night at the Sunway Putra Hotel on Dec 10 to crown two beautiful Malaysian plus size ladies who will represent Malaysia overseas at the international level.MPWM is delighted to announce that this year event will be supported and sponsored byGlam 22 that will provide the finalists stunning, luxurious evening gowns and accessories during the finals.Prior to the finals, the finalists will visit a range of welfare homes around the country and raise funds for selected Down syndrome children as well as children from underprivileged homes.The finalists will also undergo 3 months of intensive training sessions including catwalk, styling, public speaking, learning about global diplomacy and peace, community engagement as well as humanitarian work.
