KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia is once again preparing to welcome influential women leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and global changemakers as the Women Economic Forum (WEF) ASEAN 2026 returns to Kuala Lumpur from 14 to 17 October 2026.


Organised by Yayasan Bina Kesejahteraan (YBCARE), the highly anticipated four-day forum aims to build on the success and momentum of WEF ASEAN 2025 while expanding its reach into a truly global platform for collaboration, empowerment and innovation.
The upcoming edition is expected to gather delegates from across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Oceania, positioning Kuala Lumpur as a strategic hub for international dialogue, inclusive leadership and sustainable economic growth.


WEF ASEAN 2026 will bring together women leaders, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, diplomats and industry experts for impactful conversations and strategic partnerships that drive women-led progress on a global scale.
The forum will feature keynote speeches, high-level panel discussions, networking sessions, business showcases, cultural engagements, awards recognitions and international partnership opportunities.
Among the major themes expected to take centre stage are global women leadership and governance, entrepreneurship and startups, ESG and sustainable development, digital economy and future skills, investment and international markets, health and wellness, youth leadership, diplomacy and global cooperation, as well as philanthropy and poverty eradication.
According to the organisers, the Women Economic Forum ASEAN 2026 is not only about celebrating women’s achievements, but also about creating measurable impact, long-term collaborations and meaningful policy discussions that strengthen women’s role as catalysts for economic and social transformation.
With Kuala Lumpur as the host city, the event is also expected to further reinforce Malaysia’s growing reputation as a global destination for diversity, innovation, international business engagement and progressive leadership dialogue.

The forum is jointly organised by Yayasan Bina Kesejahteraan (YBCARE) and Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK), with support from several strategic partners including The Muslim World Women’s Summit, Wawasanita, Malaysia-India Business Council, Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI), Children’s Protection Society Malaysia, Power Women Summit and WOTE. Supporting organisations include SHEconomy and Persatuan Semarak Cinta Kasih.
