KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor SUKMA women’s team manager Kenneth Khanna expressed his appreciation to the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, for the trust and confidence given to him in appointing him as team manager.
Kenneth also thanked Selangor FC and the Selangor Football Association (Selangor FA) for their continuous support and confidence in the team.
The Selangor SUKMA women’s team has received a strong boost through sponsorship and support from several corporate partners ahead of the 2026 Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
Datuk Lee Chong Haw, one of the main sponcers to the Selangor SUKMA women’s team, has been actively coordinating sponsorship under the SFC Local Giant Programme, with support from Maple Leaf Kingsley International School.
Cure Physio, led by Chellapathi, has also come on board as a sponsor, providing valuable physiotherapy and recovery support for the players.
Touch Tronics is another sponsor supporting the Selangor SUKMA women’s team as part of the sponsorship initiative.
Meanwhile, Oh Yeah Banana Leaf is supporting the team as its food sponsor, helping to provide meals and nutritional support for the players and officials.
Kenneth Khanna said the support from the sponsors and football fraternity has given the team greater motivation and confidence to perform at their best.
He expressed his gratitude to all the sponsors, supporters and stakeholders for standing behind the Selangor SUKMA women’s team as they strive for success and aim to bring glory to Selangor at SUKMA 2026.
